Is InnoTech College’s Web Development Diploma right for you?
INNOTECH COLLEGE
InnoTech College is Edmonton’s only government-designated private educational institution focused solely on technology programs. Having opened its doors in 2016, it has graduated dozens of professionals into the Edmonton technology space. It also prides itself on delivering on an 80% job placement rate for its grads in 2017, and looks forward to nailing 100% job placement in 2018 and onwards.
LEADING TO A CAREER, NOT JUST A JOB
In InnoTech College’s Web Development program, students learn front-end, back-end, and prototyping skills that will allow them to stay nimble within the today’s technological space, as well as adapt for the careers of tomorrow. There’s really no other program in Edmonton that is as hands-on, diverse in its content, and in-depth in its delivery.
The Web Development Diploma Involves.
- The building of websites starting on day 1!
- The practicing of key prototyping skills that will allow you to organize your work in a productive and functional manner.
- Teaching you the differences between front and back-end development, and how to do both!
- How to ensure that the web products you build can support an unlimited amount of users.
THE DIFFERENCE
Right from day one, you’re not just learning, but you’re also learning how to teach yourself. A true developer is learning something new everyday, and without that ongoing, continuous learning, a developer’s skills get obsolete real fast. We’ll teach you how to not just learn about how the computer works, how the internet works, HTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, PHP, SQL, Laravel, Javascript, GitHub, Heroku, AWS, Debugging and so much more, but also how to learn any type of complementary technology that you might have your eyes set on.
EDMONTON WEB DEVELOPMENT DIPLOMA
Class Schedule: May 21 – November 23, 2019
Classes run: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-9pm, and Saturdays 9am-5pm
- $13,475 for the full 6-month program
- Government student funding available for eligible students
- Payment plan available too
- 120-hour website developer internship/practicum (optional)
“We prepare you for how to be prepared for what’s to come with technology.”
“By the end of this course you’ll be able to build products that can scale to infinity!”
“We teach you how to pivot really quickly. We teach you how to learn how to learn.”
“A lot of people think that you need to be good at math to be a programmer. But you don’t!”
HANDS ON LEARNING
Hack days
We’ll be playing around with new languages or software that we didn’t get a chance to try in class and try to learn them on our own (ish)…of course, the instructor will always be there for help, as well as your peers.
Lab Days
Are about building something fun and functional and then presenting it to the rest of the class. For instance, imagine building a simple version of Twitter or a website for a celebrity cartoon character.
At InnoTech College you’ll get to learn, and be supported by the absolute best! Get a taste of some of our team from the couple highlighted profiles below and check out the rest on the Our Team page.
