The IT industry is constantly changing and developing. Students entering into technology based careers do not have to worry that job prospects will be gone by the time they get out of school. Although the IT industry is always changing, it’s changing and growing sustainably. The industry is not made up of a number of large companies dominating over a few small ones, as is the case in the most volatile industries, like Oil and Gas. The big IT companies are balanced by a great number of medium and small companies offering potential candidates a huge variety of positions, organizations and departments to work in.
