InnoTech’s licensing and excellent standing as a post secondary educator enables InnoTech College students to be eligible for government student funding, including, grants, loans and bursaries, whether they’re from Alberta or any other province in Canada. InnoTech College’s programs are also eligible for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant for employers (or similar grant in other provinces). Student funding is processed and administered through the Student Aid department of each province. Applications can be submitted by mail or online, and are typically processed in under 6 weeks, with most being approved within 1 week. Application approvals are primarily based on the applicant’s financial need, although other factors, like past student loan status and concurrent educational programs may be considered as factors for approval.
